Blogs

Blogs

Hmm.. blogs.. this is the first time I’ve ever blogged in my life. I never really ‘enjoyed’ the blogs, meaning that I wouldn’t do this for fun, but I never disliked doing them. I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t for the grade, but I would still do it if a teacher told me to do it. It’s pretty cool to see other people’s opinions and their view on the blogs. I wouldn’t mind if I the blogs continued next year. It was still an experience whether it was enjoyable or not, and I am thankful for that. I think you should continue the blogs for next year, Ms. Hunt!

Bucket List

Bucket List

I never really made time to think about a bucket list, but I guess I can list some activities or goals that I must do before I die.

- Visit at least 30 exotic places in the world

- Be in no gravity zone (like Ender’s Game)

- Read 2000 books (Currently at 233)

I really can’t think of any more to add on to this bucketlist..

Bully

Bully

In my opinion, bullying can be stopped with just a unified group of people. If everyone is interested in opposing against bullying, then it will be possible. Without a group of people, it is nearly impossible to stop it. When there is an opposition, there’s always a group of people that is for bullying. Teachers can have higher standards, because some teachers actually care less about a student getting bullied in class. It may not be visible to the teacher, but it is obvious to the students. It will be weird and hard, but parents can keep on educating the kids and keep a somewhat of a surveillance. In my opinion, many students may witness a bully in action, but they will never tell on them, because they are scared. Cyberbully may seem small, but it is very big. We even had a lesson in biology class about it. I believe the punishment should be nearly the same as a criminal, because cyberbully can build up and cause the same effect.

Something that I will remember when I grow old..

I would have to say that I probably will remember my High School experience.. especially in Northview. I don’t know where to go into specifics, but surely I will remember the important people ? Important people being friends, teachers, and probably just people in general. Events that I have encountered would be a memory when I grow old. I would remember the pain and struggles that I’ve gone through. I guess the adults just don’t want to remember the pain and struggles in their lives, because .. who likes pain? Plus, adults probably have better things to do, such as hobby, providing for the family, and .. old people stuff.

Talent

Talent

I feel that it is almost impossible to teach a talent in less than 10 minutes, especially in an environment like a classroom. One thing that I would try to teach would be drums. I’m not perfect, but I can play drums. Since it takes a very long time to learn to play instruments, I would teach the basics of drums to the class. I feel that I have just enough skills and knowledge about drums to teach the class. I usually just turn on a music that I like, and follow along on my drum set. Even though 5-10 minutes may not be enough to taste the full potential of drums, I would still try my best to teach it.

Grammar

Grammar

I have some trouble with when to use semicolons, and when to use lay or lie. I used to get the ‘I or me’ thing mixed up, but after going over the topic in the class, I understand it. The only thing I really need some help on is the semicolons and lay or lie.

To use I or ME

If it is AFTER a preposition, then you have to use ME.

If there is NO preposition before it, then you will use I.

I’m sure there’s more to it, but that’s all I know.

Thanks

Buddy Vinci

Buddy Vinci

Personal assistants are very useful in some cases and very unimportant in some cases. I would hire my buddy, Leonardo Da Vinci as my personal assistant, because I think he would be extremely helpful. If I had him as my personal assistant, I could have easily told him to draw a Romeo and Juliet original artwork and get a 100 on my project. I would tell him to draw several legendary piece of artwork to have Bill Gates. Many people would LOVE to interview Leonardo Da Vinci, because he is such a legendary artist. That would also bring me some income. Of course, I would share some of the income with him, but since he IS my personal assistant.. maybe 90% of it would come to me. Basically, I would use Da Vinci as a very high income. Even though it might be a wrong idea, I’m a human. Leonardo Da Vinci would make an excellent ‘personal assistant’ with financial support.

Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet

Romeo murders Paris in a duel.

Romeo, catching sight of Juliet laying down ever so quietly, quickly pulls out the poison. He raises his arm in an attempt to drink it all away, but suddenly, an arm snatches the poison away. Juliet woke up right before Romeo held hands with Death. Romeo is very surprised and astonished by the fact that he just tried to kill himself, when Juliet was clearly alive and well. Juliet explains everything to Romeo about how Friar Lawrence has helped her through the situation. Romeo realizes that he has killed Paris in cold blood and he knows that he is not even supposed to be in the city of Verona. Romeo and Juliet quietly escapes to Friar Lawrence’s cell. Friar Lawrence is surprised that Romeo didn’t kill himself and apologizes for the error. Romeo asks Friar Lawrence for two horses and bag full of money, because he and Juliet is going to escape to another city very far away from Verona to avoid the death penalty. Friar Lawrence, accepting the error that he has made, hands over a bag full of money and provides transportation. Romeo and Juliet escapes to Rome and lives happily ever after.

Dust

Dust

If I found some magic dust that would put me in the future life of mine, then I would never even consider taking it, unless I’m in an urgent situation. Instead of inhaling it for myself, I would sell it to other people for.. maybe a couple billions, not much considering that it REALLY does fast forward through time. I would love to be older, but I wouldn’t sacrifice education over age, or the ‘freedom’. If I really had to step into the future, then I would probably want to be 21, because that seems like the ideal age. I don’t think it would make my life any better, just because I’m a little older than now. In ten years, I honestly don’t know what I’ll be like, because I can’t predict my future. If I really can go to the future, I’d want to be successful and live out the ‘american dream’, just like how everyone else want to live.

Childhood

Childhood

I would have to say that the best childhood memory that I have is going on ski trips with my whole family every year. We would always go on a ski trip when my parents come up with some time. We packed the food that we were going to eat during the long trip in the car. The day before the trip, my mom would always need my brother’s and my help to prepare the food, because it is a several hours long drive. My dad would get off from work early, so that he could prepare the equipments that we were going to bring with us. We go to different ski resorts every year to mix things up, because it will be old to go to the same ski resort every year. After the long hours of skiing, we would come down to the cabin and eat delicious food and hot chocolate. I can vividly recall the memory of a ski trip from 5 years ago, because something different happens every year. I will always be looking forward to the ski trips!
